Hey everyone, I'm trying to hook up my TV and receiver via HDMI ARC, but I'm struggling to get the TV audio on my surroundspeakers. TV: LG OLED55BX6LB Receiver: Denon AVR-X1300W HDMI cable connected from TV's HDMI ARC port to receiver's HDMI ACR port. Temporarily disconnected all other...
So I just purchased a brand new HDTV with ARC (Audio Return Chanel) built into one of the HDMI ports. But I still own an old version of HDMI capable surround sound receiver (Sony STR-K7200). It has 3 HDMI inputs and 1 HDMI output. I frequently watch TV without the surround sound receiver...

This was exactly my question about using the HDMI ARC/eARC connection on my new Lg Smart Tv to send all the Dolby sound to my TX-SR605. I guess I’ll just have to use optical cable which will allow a degraded level of sound.
I've just bought a brand new LG 55" OLED C4 TV with an LG 70TY Soundbar. I want to control the volume of the soundbar with the Magic Remote. I don't want to use the built In TV speakers. I have a new HDMI high speed cable going from the TV's HDMI 2 (Arc/eArc) port to the Soundbar's HDMI...
