Almost two months removed from the Toronto Blue Jays reaching their first World Series in 30 years, longtime president and CEO Mark Shapiro reached a contract extension with team ownership.

The Blue Jays' frantic offseason continued on Friday night, as they agreed to a three-year, $37 million deal with right-hander Tyler Rogers, a source told MLB.com's Mark Feinsand.
